The Ellis and Elise Collection

The Ellis and Elise Series is a collection of early chapter books that attempt to increase cultural awareness in a fun and genius way. Readers fall in love with the personalities of fraternal twins – Ellis and Elise Walden– who are eager to learn about the world around them. In all of our books, cultural insensitivity creates the perfect recipe for cultural enlightenment.

Most suitable for students ages eight through twelve, each collection includes facts of five countries written with a touch of fantasy. In every book, ingenuity is used to communicate cultural facts and dispel cultural stereotypes.

Finally, each book in our collection covers Social Emotional Learning (SEL) competencies, 21st century skills, and Common Core State Standards. The use of these educational frameworks helps in developing critical skills that allow for successful management of life tasks. Additionally, it aids in producing culturally-competent learners with a global mindset.
